Financial Manager
Duties will include full finance function, administrative legal compliance, preparation of the monthly reporting, management accounts, budgets and forecasts, inventory cost and control and supervision of the department.
- Completed Bcom Accounting Degree
- At least 5 to 8 years general finance experience
- At least 3 years middle management
- Sound theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of financial management
- Experience in payroll and HR systems
- Good business acumen
- Able to handle pressure
- Adhere to and maintain financial policies and procedures as defined by the company
- Consultation with Financial Manager and management on all aspects relating to Financial and Administrative function
- Creating ad hoc reports as and when required
- Preparation of journals generated in the Finance and Payroll departments
- Responsible for the growth, development and performance of subordinates
- Imparting superior, expert knowledge to subordinates
- Responsible for fostering an environment that is conductive to optimal productivity and efficiency
- Supplier record creation in Pastel Evolution.
- Month-end reconciliations and payments
- Daily processing of payments in Pastel Evolution
- Ensure all invoices/credit notes SARS complaint – our VAT number must appear on the supplier invoice.
- Ensure VAT is captured correctly using the correct VAT code when capturing invoices/credit notes in Paste Evolution
- Deal with supplier account related queries efficiently and timeously.
- Preparing regular and ad hoc reports.
